Through experience and observation, KnowDental has developed a variety of tools to engage children in a fun and meaningful way. We have found that there is no perfect system as every child is incredibly unique. It is well known that kids learn best when they are having fun, but not everyone enjoys every game.
At KnowDental we take the times to consider our audience regarding culture, age, skill level and much more. The games are chosen in a very specific and customized order to create a personalized story that speaks to every child. While some children thrive on competition and high energy, others may be thoughtful and prefer to create. The systems KnowDental develops speaks to everyone.

KD Puzzle
Kick off the day with a team building exercise
What is it?
A simple puzzle game to help the kids get warmed up to one another. At KnowDental, we have found that the feeling of belonging to a group is instrumental in the education-entertainment process.
How does it work?
- Posters created and designed by KnowDental
- They are printed on Styrofoam and cut into puzzle pieces for each poster.
- Give the separated puzzle pieces to the participants.
- Explain that they must be put together to form the final poster.
- Show the participants the final posters for 30 seconds then hide them.
- Assign 4-7 participants by poster to arrange it.
- When they are put together they could be held and used to explain
- Every poster is held by a dental coach while another dental coach explains the content Educational goals
- Visual representation of the content being explained.
- While assembling the posters, participants get familiar with the content before being explained, which is a beneficial repetition.
- A sense of ownership is developed after assembling the posters which makes the content more likely to be adopted by participants who worked on it.
- A person holding the poster instead of hanging it makes it more interesting for the participants.
